The boots are designed with reflective safety features for added visibility, asymmetrical steel toes for a better fit, and a TPU stability shank for added support. The slip- and oil-resistant sole further enhances safety. Made from durable, waterproof leather, the boots also feature a moisture-wicking lining and weigh 23.15 oz / 656 g per shoe. They are built off KEEN's traditional wider footwear form and offer removable insoles, making them suitable for medium-duty work in construction, landscaping, warehouse distribution, and transportation.

The boots are also Electrical Hazard (EH)-rated to provide a secondary source of protection from live electrical circuits.
